foster a growth oriented, just and equitable society based on the
respect for the rights of individuals and non-discrimination along
lines of caste, communities and gender by enabling the
underprivileged and uninitiated to secure their rights.
Future Vision Pairvi's experiences in the arena of advocacy have revealed the need to focus upon some crucial arenas of human rights, which will be a part of the future vision of PAIRVI. These are: 1. Good Governance and Human Rights Since a number of human rights situations in the national arena can be promoted by promotion of good governance and ethical practices, PAIRVI feels the need to evolve and work upon strategies for this issue. 2. Dalit Rights Pairvi has already been a campaigner for dalit rights and will be strengthening its efforts through collaboration as well as action on its own. 3. Participation in International Forums The world is becoming a global village and now even more so global policies and politics have a direct bearing in the lives of the people of India. Keeping this in mind Pairvi will continue to actively participate and be a partner to International Solidarity efforts like the World Social Forum and other such movements. |
