We work with different groups of people at grassroot level to improve human rights situations and to strengthen peoples capacity.
3rd October, Delhi
CSO Forum was organized to involve sub regional CSO participants (from Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Pakistan, Maldives , Iran and India) in the sub regional Forum. More than 60 participants participated in the Forum updating the forum on the latest global, regional and national development and finalizing strategy for intervention in the sub regional Forum.
CECOEDECON, PAIRVI and MAUSAM organized consultations to come up with Peoples Manifesto and see peoples priorities from the sustainability point of view. The Rajasthan Consultation was organized at Jaipur on 8th August, while the Madhya Pradesh Consultation was organized at Indore on 24th August. Aspirations of peoples have been shared with various political parties.

The National Consultation was organized in collaboration with MAUSAM, PAIRVI, CECOEDECON, TWN, ADA and WNTA, wherein more than 70 representatives from the CSOs participated reflecting on progress on the SDGs, outcomes of the HLPF 2018 and priorities for agenda 2030 in 2019. Many of the BCPH members also participated in the Consultation.
UNEA 3 was organized by UNEP during 4th to 6th December at Nairobi, the HQ of the United Nations Environment. It was preceded by a series of meetings including innovations expo (4th to 6th Dec) Science business policy forum (2nd and 3rd Dec) , Open ended committee of the permanent representatives (29th Nov. to 1st Dec) and global major groups and stakeholders forum (27th and 28th Nov).
Formed in 1998, PAIRVI works at the intersection of development and rights. It works with small grassroots organizations, community based groups and a pan Indian Coalition on climate and environmental justice, MAUSAM.
Strength of the team is each individual member. We have dynamic, meticulous and vibrant team members from different streams whose sustained efforts help in realization of organization’s goal.
PAIRVI’s Governing Body is characterized by the seasoned, erudite and distinguished members from academic, legal, social and bureaucratic fraternity who guide the organization to accomplish its greater vision.
