The Youth Dialogue on “Emergence of Artificial Intelligence: Social and Legal Challenges” was organised on 30th November 2025 in collaboration with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow.
The dialogue brought together more than 60 students, academicians, legal practitioners, technologists, civil society representatives, and policy-oriented professionals to engage in a comprehensive discussion on the rapidly evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its implications for law, society, governance, and youth futures. The programme was designed as an interactive and reflective platform, enabling young participants to critically examine both the transformative potential and the inherent risks associated with AI-driven systems.
The central objective of the dialogue was to deepen understanding of AI beyond its technical dimensions and situate it within broader constitutional, ethical, social, and human rights frameworks. In an era where algorithmic systems increasingly influence public services, employment, legal processes, and personal lives, the dialogue sought to empower youth with the analytical tools necessary to engage responsibly with AI technologies and to contribute meaningfully to debates on accountable and inclusive AI governance in India
