The Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) composed of elected focal points of all the thematic and sub-regional constituencies is the highest decision making body of the APRCEM. The RCC met on 21st February to conduct (i) election of Co Chairs for the term 2026-2029, (ii) discuss outgoing co-chairs report (iii) develop RCC/constituency plans, and (iv) review the preparations for the Peoples Forum and the APFSD 2026. While Ajay K Jha (Focal point of Farmers Constituency) and Joy Hernandez (Focal Point Workers & Trade Union) were re-elected as Co Chairs, the RCC also elected Shilpa Lamichhane (focal point South and southwest Asia) as the third co chair.
