A delegation of MAUSAM comprising of Mr. Soumya Dutta (MAUSAM), Mr. Deodutt Singh (PANI), Dr. Alok Vyas (CECOEDECON), Mr. Shyam Ladrecha (Public Prosecutor, Jodhpur bench), Mausumi Chetia (Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Amsterdam) and Ajay Jha (PAIRVI). They organized and participated in a number of side events, press conference, bilateral and multilateral meetings besides collaborating with Asian and global partners and colleagues. They also managed a booth in the blue zone. Major events in the COP
- Side Event 1; Leveraging NDCs to transition away from Fossil Fuel and protect Biodiversity, 14th November; the side event was organized PAIRVI & CECOEDECON in collaboration with many global partners including LINGO, Say No to LNG, IEMA, NRGI and was addressed by Members of Parliament from Brazil, Bolivia and Columbia. Soumya Dutta represented MAUSAM and other Indian partner organizations.
- Side event 2; Investing Public Finance in Real Solutions, 15th November; the side event was organized by a host of organizations including CECOEDECON, PAIRVI, Ibon International, Global Forest Coalition, Indigenous Earth Network, FSF and Latindad. Ajay K Jha Brief report attached.
- Press Conferences 1; Climate negotiations and developing countries, 11th November; Soumya Dutta spoke on the press conference organized by Bangladeshi networks (COAST BD).
- Press Conference 2; Let’s talk about Real Solutions, 18th November; Ajay K Jha spoke on the press conference organized by the GFC, Ibon International and Friends of Forests, Siberia.
- Report Release at India Pavillion 15th November; Mr. Naresh Pal Gangwar, Secretary, MOEFCC released the Report of the PreCOP event organized by PAIRVI, CECOEDECON & Narmada Samagra in collaboration with the AIGGPA, Govt of MP and conducted in the presence of the Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, Dr Mohan Yadav on 28th October. The event was coordinated by Dr. Alok Vyas.
