Patna, 1 August, 2025. PAIRVI in collaboration other state partners organized the State Consultation on Peoples Vision of Development in Bihar at AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies, Patna. The participants found it extremely relevant due to upcoming State assembly elections in Bihar in November. The consultation was attended by approx. 60 participants from CSOs, Press and media and representative of all major political parties including the ruling BJP and JDU, RJD, INC and left parties. The session witnessed animated conversation and high number of questions due to presence of representatives from the ruling coalition. However, the session was moderated effectively to prevent allegations, claims and counter claims to keep it focused on people’s aspirations from the next government. Later on PAIRVI collected all the recommendations and developed the People’s Manifesto – Janghosh 2025 to share and discuss with all the political parties to ensure their commitment on critical issues to development, sustainability, enhanced accountability and shared prosperity.
