This strategy meeting was organized by Home Alliance to look at geo engineering (GE) false solutions efforts being pushed in climate change, biodiversity, nature action etc. While the meeting discussed latest efforts by government and GE symapthizers, it also strategize how to prevent these at UNFCCC, UNCBD, and UNEA. Ajay K Jha provided inputs on the history of geo engineering at UNEA and at UNFCCC, and how to galvanize greater mobilization against the GE beyond organizations with specific expertise. Working more deeply on land and geo engineering solutions was considered and decided to be a potential entry point to liaise with large number of organizations working on land, agriculture and food, gender, which alliance undertook to work on. Besides, discussions were also held how to support/reinforce SRM nonuse agreement through the regional environment ministers Forum in Africa and in Asia.
