Ajay K Jha was invited as a key note speaker in this consultation organized by India Alliance for Child Rights (IACR), Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) and Bahai International House of Public Affairs. More than 50 children and Youth rights activists participated in the Consultation, which focused on bringing children and youth’s concerns in the climate conversations, policies and programmes. Ajay K Jha focused on youth activism and engagement in climate negotiations. He emphasized that though lot of young people and children are participating in the climate negotiations (globally) and climate conversations (nationally), however, this has not led to cre4ating an agency of children and youth in policy making or their interest being addressed in the climate action. This also cautioned children and youth against youth washing.
