The OEWG 3.2 meeting was held in Punta Del Este Uruguay during 14th to 20th June. Ajay K Jha participated as the representative of the UNEP farmers Major Group. He also delivered the collective statement on behalf of all major groups and stakeholders present in this consultation. Following the OEWG Meeting, and after three years negotiation, the Intergovernmental Meeting set up the Intergovernmental Science Panel on Chemical Waste and Pollution. This is a welcome development in the environmental multilateralism to deal with chemical, waste and pollution at global and national level.

This strategy meeting was organized by Home Alliance to look at geo engineering (GE) false solutions efforts being pushed in climate change, biodiversity, nature action etc. While the meeting discussed latest efforts by government and GE symapthizers, it also strategize how to prevent these at UNFCCC, UNCBD, and UNEA. Ajay K Jha provided inputs on the history of geo engineering at UNEA and at UNFCCC, and how to galvanize greater mobilization against the GE beyond organizations with specific expertise. National Advocacy Workshop on Climate Justice and Sustainable Development

From March 20 to 22, 2025, PAIRVI organized a three-day national residential workshop on "Climate Justice and Sustainable Development: Encouraging Community Roles and Actions" at the scenic Jawai Bandh in Pali, Rajasthan. The workshop brought together 28 participants from nine states across India, including community leaders, grassroots activists, young climate advocates, and representatives of civil society organizations. The objective of the workshop was to deepen the understanding of climate science, unpack the socio-economic and political drivers of the climate crisis, and empower participants with the tools and knowledge to engage in community-led climate action. The workshop featured rich and diverse themes, including sessions on the fundamentals of climate science, critical analysis of national and international climate policies, and the myths and misconceptions around false solutions. More than 130 representatives from CSOs from all over Asia Pacific participated besides colleagues from the ESCAP and the UNEP (ROAP and HQ at Nairobi).
